Ruslana Steininger is a Product Manager for Manufacturing Data Service, and previously was a Product Manager for Autodesk Meshmixer in Design and Fabrication group. She is a Certified Product Manager PMC-III and a Certified Agile Project Manager (Cert.APM). Ruslana also product managed award winning Autodesk Research website (yes, this one) ensuring the work of Autodesk Research team is captured and presented to the world. Previously, Ruslana was a Senior Software QA Lead at the Research Transfer.
Ruslana worked on multiple projects over the years, including Draco/SketchBook Motion which was recognized as the iPad App of the Year 2016!
Her other contributions include Project Chronicle/Autodesk Screencast, Autodesk Remote, IdEx website, ToolClip, Marking Menus and the AutoCam library (ViewCube, SteeringWheels, ShowMotion, Navigation Bar, etc.). Ruslana collaborated with the Complex Systems Research group by helping them develop design documentation for the building performance monitoring system called Project Dasher. Ruslana also acts as the SharePoint administrator for the entire Research team.
Ruslana received her Hon. B. Sc. degree in Software Engineering at the Computer Science Department from University of Toronto. Prior to that she studied Journalism at Ivan Franko Lviv State University in Ukraine and worked as a journalist. Before joining Autodesk, Ruslana acquired experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems consulting, web design, search engine optimization (SEO) and database administration.
Ruslana is fluent in three languages, and in her spare time she enjoys running, yoga, photography, improvisation, gardening, design, hiking and travelling abroad.
