Hali Larsen is a designer and researcher with the Complex Systems Research group at Autodesk Research. She joined the Toronto office in 2015 and is working on information visualization for the design and performance management of buildings and cities. Prior to joining the team Hali’s experience includes architectural design, sustainability focused research and development, and consulting engineering.
Hali received her Bachelors of Applied Science from Queen’s University in Mechanical and Materials Engineering in 2008 and her Masters of Architecture from the University of Toronto in 2014. She is interested in the impact of big data on urban life and human health, how visualization and simulation tools impact design process, and the opportunities presented by smart and active materials.
Hali enjoys biking, traveling, and getting out into nature.
