As a Sr. UX Designer, Dianne will be contributing primarily to Project Dreamcatcher, focusing on improving the user experience of the prototype application and developing new interaction paradigms for goal directed generative design. Dianne will also contribute her expertise to the Autodesk Within toolset in future releases.
Prior to joining Autodesk, Dianne worked as a Senior User Experience Specialist on the Digital Aviation team at Boeing where she was the focal for the Seattle Flight Deck portfolio - designing mobile applications for airline pilots. Prior to her work with pilots, Dianne performed user research and interaction design for Boeing’s internal tools from schedule optimization software for Sales & Marketing to 3D visualization tools for Design Engineering.
Dianne received her bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas before joining Boeing in 2001. She then went on to get a master degree in Human-Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington, and rounded her skills out with another bachelor degree in Industrial Design from the Art Institute of Seattle. Dianne is just moving to the Bay Area from Seattle, in her spare time she boxes, performs ballet and volunteers for the Design for Good Initiative and the AIGA.
