Thomas White is a software developer and leader of the Research Transfer team at Autodesk. He is responsible for converting research outcomes into production-quality components and supporting their integration into products. Prior to joining the Research group, he was a member of the Maya, SketchBook Pro and PortfolioWall product teams.
Thomas has many years of experience in software development. His areas of expertise include agile development methods, application and component architecture, 2D and 3D graphics, internationalization, and the Windows and Mac OS X platforms.
He graduated from the University of Waterloo with Bachelor’s of Mathematics degree in Computer Science. Thomas lives in the Toronto area with his partner Julia and their two cats. He enjoys hiking, gardening, reading, playing video games and watching movies.
