Michael Glueck is a research software development engineer at Autodesk Research. Coupling his fascination for both psychology and computer science, Michael specialized in human computer interaction at the University of Toronto. Michael joined Autodesk Research after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in 2007.
As an undergraduate student, Michael quickly discovered his penchant for inquiry. He pursued an early interest in psychology by assisting with eye-tracking research at the Visual Cognition Lab. Although his focus has since turned to computers, visual perception continues to drive Michael’s research interests. His choice topics include multi-touch interaction, context in multiscale datasets, navigation techniques in 3D virtual space, applications of eye and head tracking, and augmented reality.
Born in Germany, Michael also lived in Montreal before settling in Toronto. When not in the lab, he enjoys snowboarding during the winter and riding his motorcycle in the summer.
